Providers

Nathan Strandmark, DO

Dr. Nathan Strandmark, who is Board-certified in Family Medicine, joined Plaza Medical Center in August 2007.  He never had any doubt when he was in medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience that he would practice anywhere other than in his home town.  It had been his dream, even while he was playing basketball at Garden City Community College, to return home to care for the medical needs of his friends and their families.

During summer vacation and holidays from college and medical school, Dr. Strandmark could often be found at Plaza Medical Center learning and helping.  Now he is "paying it forward" by mentoring and teaching medical students as well as those aspiring to become nurse practicioners or physician assistants.  You might even find some high shool students "shadowing" him while they are exploring a career in heatlh care.

Dr. Strandmark, his wife and three children, love water sports so when the weather and time permit can be found at their cabin on the lake.

Jeremy Roderick, DO

Dr. Roderick is a Board-certified family practitioner who grew up in Garden City.  He obtained his Bachelor's degree at Colorado Christian University and attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.  He joined Plaza Medical Center in September 2009, shorty after completion of his residency at Via Christi Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Roderick chose family medicine because he wanted to be involved in the lives of his patients.  "One of the most exciting aspects of family medicine is getting to know patients and their families.  These are people who are friends and acquaintances.  I will run into many patients at church, a restaurant, or outside excursions." He particularly enjoys providing obstetrical services to his patients and caring for their newborns.

Dr. Roderick is very involved in his church.  As an accomplished musician, he regularly provides service music.  In addition, he serves as a Sunday School teacher and often as an usher.  He is presently doing correspondence course work leading to a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.  In what spare time he has remaining, he enjoys running, hiking, traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.

Bryan Stucky, MD

Dr. Bryan Stucky graduated from Kansas University School of Medicine in 2009.  He completed his residency with Via Christi Family Medicine, where in 2012, he was named the outstanding resident.  In August of that same year, he returned to his hometown and began practice at Plaza Medical Center.  He chose family practice because he enjoys the challenge of treating patients who present with a diversity of ailments.

Dr. Stucky enjoys his time away from the clinic by playing tennis and riding his dirt bike.  He also likes jeeping in the mountains, so when he, his wife and two small children are able to get away, they head to Colorado.
